Welcome to Sushi-Ten Japanese Restaurant, a haven for sushi aficionados nestled in the heart of Tucson at 4500 E Speedway Blvd UNIT 1. With a reputation for high-quality ingredients and a warm, inviting atmosphere, Sushi-Ten stands out in the bustling culinary landscape.

Upon entering, you’re greeted with a vibrant ambiance where modern aesthetics meet traditional Japanese elements. Recent renovations have enhanced its charm with a fresh, clean look, making it a delightful setting for both casual diners and sushi enthusiasts alike.

One of the restaurant’s standout features is its extensive sushi menu. The Philadelphia Roll and Dragon Roll receive rave reviews for their freshness and flavor, while options like ahi and spicy tuna rolls pack a delightful punch for the taste buds. As customer Annie mentioned, the miso soup is a must-try, reminiscent of the best bowls served in Tokyo, a true testament to the chef's skill in capturing authentic flavors.

  • Tempura Dinners: The Shrimp Tempura Dinner (6 pieces for $20.75) and assorted vegetable tempura showcase a perfect crunch without compromising taste.
  • Fried Rice Variety: Choices range from beef to shrimp and vegetable fried rice, each prepared with attention to detail and flavor.

Beyond sushi, the restaurant offers a selection of tantalizing sauces like Eel Sauce and Ponzu Sauce, enhancing the savory dishes with unique flavor profiles. Customers appreciate the option for gluten-free meals, a nod to inclusivity and accommodating dietary preferences.

The staff at Sushi-Ten are known for their warmth and attentiveness. Reviews highlight the friendly service, with diners frequently noting how the team makes you feel welcome, enhancing the overall dining experience. Whether it's your first time trying sushi or you're a seasoned enthusiast, the accommodating atmosphere makes it a pleasant outing for everyone.

Sushi-Ten also stands out for its reasonable prices, especially considering the quality of ingredients. As Alberto Rascón pointed out, despite losing happy hour, the value remains impressive for such a high-caliber sushi experience. Don't forget to save room for a sweet treat—try the matcha ice cream cone, which is a favorite among kids and adults alike.

In summary, Sushi-Ten Japanese Restaurant is more than a place to eat; it’s a celebration of Japanese cuisine. With its combination of delectable dishes, friendly service, and a lively atmosphere, it’s no wonder this gem has become a beloved fixture in Tucson. Exceeded our expectations! The quality of the sushi and other food was very high. My family ordered several sushi rolls including ahi, and spicy tuna and were very satisfied. The miso soup was some of the best I’ve had since visiting Tokyo. They don’t list anything in their menu as gluten free, however they were happy to make me some GF fried rice. She warned ‘it won’t taste the same’, which I thought was very nice, but I agreed that it wouldn’t (and I’d be worried if it did). The chicken in the fried rice was cooked very well (and plenty of it). The service was good. The prices were reasonable (given it is sushi and I don’t mind paying for fresh, high quality ingredients.) Overall, excellent experience.

Best dragon roll I’ve ever had! They also sell my favorite Japanese sodas and play good music. Complimentary miso soup in cute little bowls. Staff is kind. Prices are good, too!

The best place for sushi in Tucson! The staff is always lovely, and it’s consistently packed with people. Although they no longer offer happy hour (pre-2020), the prices remain reasonable for the quality of sushi. They recently remodeled and gave the place a cleaner look, which I really appreciate—a fresh coat of white paint has made it feel much more lively. Despite the changes, the sushi remains a solid 10/10, making this my all-time favorite sushi spot in Tucson.
